Responsible for building up local teams and providing them with necessary support until they go to market, setting up the European branches with a complete web based banking system to sell savings products from scratch, starting from the banking licence application to the go-to-market activities. Management of the relationships between the branches and the HQ, global agreements with vendors, sharing of the best practices, and creation of new standards and reduction of the go-to-market lead time. Direct reporting line to the Head of the Edge Project.
Main achievements:
- Norway: Live in two and a half months
- Netherlands and Italy: Substantially ready to go-live, projects started in February 2008,
- Greece, Portugal and Ireland: Project started in September 2008, foreseen go-live second quarter 2009

Sales and Marketing Director - Aerofone Ltd. A Síminn company, Bedford, UK
Responsible for marketing of new products and services, events and promotional activities, direct and indirect marketing, customer retention, acquisition of new business, budgeting, targeting, strategy steering and implementation for the Sales Teams focused on retention and acquisition.
Main achievements:
- Sales +300% in 5 months, turning the net connection from a negative to a positive figure.
- Reduced the annual churn (loss of clients) from 55% of base to 9%.
- Repositioned the company as an ICT company focused on high-usage clients.
- Developed a new portfolio of products and services for the company.
- Managed a team of 16 people, with 3 direct reports.

Managing Director - Síminn UK Ltd, London, UK
Responsible for Síminn's corporate positioning for the global market and business development, seeking out acquisition opportunities in the UK, establishing partnerships with operators and suppliers in the UK, bringing new business from Síminn's key customers that were establishing them selves in the UK.
Main achievements:
- Established Síminn UK as a service company from scratch.
- Mended roaming agreements to meet a threat from Vodafone’s Passport.
- Acquired 100% Icelandic companies that have opened offices in UK
- Successfully integrated Services and customers of Síminn UK into Aerofone.
- Redeveloped it into a holding company when the first acquisition was made, making myself and my team redundant with the aim to take over as Sales and Marketing Director of the Acquired target, Aerofone.
- Managed a team of 2 people, which were placed in Síminn hf, when Síminn UK was changed to a holding company.

Responsible for design and business cases for M2M, Telemetry, Mobile data solutions and bid strategy to key clients.
Main achievements:
- Successfully bid for the electronic offender tagging business of G4S.
- Successfully bid for the mobile data solution to control the street lights in Central London.
- Successfully bid for mobile data solution for data transfer to the London Buses Countdown system.
- Strategically placed O2 to win Customs & Excise’s lorry road user charge business, a project requiring mobile data connections to track 500.000 lorries on UK roads.

Focus on Internet traffic management and control systems for enterprises. Worked on this along with my MBA studies. Responsible for the establishment of the company on behalf of owners, building the business on innovative basis, starting from the team building to the standardization and optimization of processes and training paths.
Main achievements:
- Set up of the company in 1 month
- Launched the company's e-commerce website, developed on the basis of the most innovative strategies in terms of navigability (PAD model) and SEO. This brought to an increase of sales of 120% and a cost reduction of 45%.
- Developed the product palette to stimulate the distribution of the company’s teaser
- Developed a communication strategy to gain media coverage in several IT magazines and create brand awareness in relevant countries (Australia, New Zealand, Holland, etc…)

Research and Development Director - Netverk PLC, Datchet, UK
Responsible for management of the company’s development teams to invent new technology solutions.
Main achievements:
- Invented, patented and built a ground breaking optimization technology (known as mTCP).
- Finalized contracts with hardware manufacturers to embed the mTCP technology in their devices and successfully developed relationships with Britain’s mobile operators to get mTCP embedded into mobile devices.
